Dr. Kathy Garran

MBBS, Dip RACOG, FRACGP 

Kathy trained at the University of Melbourne and moved to Darwin in 1992. She gained fellowship with the RACGP in 1998.

Kathy has a special interest in lifestyle medicine, nutrition and the gut microbiome. She is also a longstanding member of the Australian Sentinel Practices Research Network (ASPREN), undertaking infectious disease surveillance.

In addition to General Practice, Kathy works at the Darwin Private Hospital as a surgical assistant and is a clinical editor for Health Pathways at the Northern Territory Primary Health Network (NTPHN)
