Dr. Amy Thwaites

Amy is a rural generalist trainee GP registrar with an advanced skill in obstetrics and gynaecology. Hailing from country Victoria, she has a strong passion for rural and regional medicine, both in primary care and in hospital settings. She currently works in obstetrics at Royal Darwin and Katherine hospitals as well as in primary care. She has a special interest in women’s health and reproductive medicine as well as public health and medical education.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys singing in community choirs and cooking for her friends and family.
