PROCEDURES ARE CHARGED AT AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION RATES. THEATRE & SPECIALISED DRESSING FEES CAN APPLY
New patients who have made bookings with us will receive a link via SMS to an online Patient Information Form. If you are unable to complete the online form, please download, print, complete and bring the form to your appointment.
We will endeavour to give you an appointment as soon as possible with a doctor of your preference.
Please remember that most of our doctor’s work part time.
If there is more than one person to see the doctor, or if you have several problems to discuss, we recommend you book an extended appointment; a regular appointment is 15 mins.
We are regularly fully booked and there is a high demand for appointments. We encourage you to Cancel or Re-book an Appointment you no longer need, at least 12 hours prior to the appointment. The easiest way is by replying to our appointment reminder text messages. Reply ‘Y’ to confirm or ‘N’ to cancel.
Missed Appointments & On-day cancellations will incur a fee of $50.

If a doctor falls sick, at least 25 patient appointments are affected daily
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 000 and ask for an Ambulance or visit the nearest Emergency Department.
A doctor on-call is available outside our normal operating hours on 0416 584 840. An upfront fee is payable at the time of consultation.
Urgent sociable hours $250
Urgent unsociable hours $300
Fees for procedures and consumables can apply in addition to the above.
Doctors at Pandanus Medical NT attempt to run on time. However varying needs of patients and those with acute ill health often affect our ability to run on 15 to 20-minutes appointments. Longer consultations are always available. If you require more complex consultations or multiple concerns, please ask staff to arrange a longer consultation.
Options are available for persons who would prefer not to wait in the communal waiting room. Check with our friendly staff.

Your Responsibilities
To help us to provide you with the best possible care please:

Tell us about your illnesses and hospital visits, symptoms, medications, allergies, and other health-related matters, the doctor may request you to sign a request of records form so we can access medical records to help with this.

Tell us about any religious or cultural beliefs and requirements.

Treat everyone that you meet at our facilities with care and respect.

Ask questions and talk to your family before making any decisions about your health care if relevant.

Follow staff instructions regarding your treatment and care.

Be aware that your care may need to be transferred to another general practice/hospital or specialist clinic if the doctor feels it is required. Your signature and patient consent will always be obtained before this, so you are made aware of how your personal information is being handled.

Be on time for appointments and let your health service know if you need to cancel or reschedule and notify us if your contact details change.

Talk to your local doctor if your condition changes while on a waiting list for treatment.

Treat all people you meet in the health service (staff, volunteer, patients/clients, their families, and aged care residents), with care, dignity, and consideration.

Respect the confidentiality and privacy of others always.

Tele-health
Any Australian with a Medicare card can now access Tele-health services via phone or Video conference.
Phone or video consultations are available for patients who have been tested for COVID-19 and remain in self-quarantine.
Please speak with reception to arrange.

Parking Facilities
We have ample parking spaces directly in front of the building.
Disabled access is on the side of the entrance.

Emergencies
We can usually attend to minor emergencies such as laceration / cuts requiring suturing or plastering of fractures. We deal with these on a priority basis.
Please let reception know if you have symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty in breathing or bleeding.
