Enhanced Testing - The recent Commonwealth government announcement, supported by the NT government promotes testing more widely the NT however still differs from slightly form National Guidelines.
If you are experiencing flu like symptoms it is imperative that you advise reception when making your appointment.
Enhanced testing is available for patients with clinical presentation of respiratory symptoms who wish to be tested as a screening tool.
In the interests of all persons attending and working at the clinic we have limited capacity for testing patients on site and at times may need to refer people to RDH Pandemic Clinic / CDC on 89228044
During the course of this pandemic, patients are able to access consultations at a time when the clinic is less populated, wait in their car until the doctor is ready or wait in a separate waiting area away from the communal waiting room.
Telehealth consultations are available for all patients in the form of video or phone and are billed directly to medicare with no out of pocket fees.
Respiratory Isolation areas are allocated in the clinic to help prevent spread of any respiratory infection to other patients of the clinic.
Masks are available from reception please ask staff.
National guidelines do not support screening of patients for employment purposes and claim that there is no benefit in isolating without symptoms for 14 days.
